Gordy’s offers a selection of deli/style items and gourmet food products; catering menus for corporate lunch/breakfast and cocktail functions, as well as cooking classes to showcase the use of gourmet ingredients and encourage cooking at home.
The personal and passionate approach
Gordy’s café deli is a culmination of a lifetime dream to share my passion of food, to encourage others to get cooking and enjoy the abundance of fresh produce that we have available to us on the Darling Downs. My jaunts to foreign shores have allowed me to participate in cooking schools and tastings in Italy, Amsterdam, France, Thailand and Switzerland; but I am always happy to return to the quality of food and presentation that we enjoy in Queensland. Here at Gordy’s café deli we invite you to come and taste, come and play at one of our regular cookery schools and for those of you who need a little extra pizzazz at your next function, we would love the opportunity to impress! We specialize in bringing you exceptional flavours using the finest quality products. We have a commitment to showcasing locally produced products whenever possible and offering a dynamic combination of flavours and tastes. Gordy’s café deli has an ongoing commitment to educating the discerning palate with supplier tastings conducted regularly. Evening cooking classes will be held at least once per quarter. The classes showcase the passion of our food preparation staff and the talented chefs behind the fabulous products available at Gordy’s. Catering for corporate functions and specialty events are the most enjoyable part of our working week. Gift baskets are available to dazzle the senses and share the love of food and cooking with others or self.
